To register a new domain name,

1. Log into your Client Area at https://www.asiainternethosting.com/clients/clientarea.php. Login details were sent to you during the workshop.
2. In the left sidebar, click on Register A New Domain
3. Enter the domain and click Search.
4. If the domain is available, click Add to Cart. If not, do another search.
5. Repeat step 3 if you want to register more domains. if not, click Go To Checkout
6. Select your Payment method, click to agree to the Service terms, and click Checkout
7. Proceed with your payment.

Check The Domain DNS settings

1. After purchasing a new domain, go to the My Domains tab
2. Go to your parent domain (the domain you purchased during the workshop) and click Edit.
3. Scroll down to nameservers and take note of Nameserver 1 and Nameserver 2. (it will be ns1 and ns2 or ns7 and ns8)
4. Click the back button of your browser and go to the new domain your just purchased and click Edit.
5. Check that the nameservers match those of your parent domain.

We have found that the recent release version of cPanel version 11.44, increased the sub-hosting cPanel account user's length to 16 characters.

Unfortunately, there is no setting to limit the username length at this time. This means that you have to manually check and reduce cPanel usernames to a maximum of 8 characters. Otherwise, the Fantastico installations will continue to have the same issues.

You will also have to make sure that any newly created accounts, do not exceed 8 characters for the usernames.

Our server is currently under attack from hackers that target the WordPress login page at http://www.yourdomain.com/wp-admin.

To prevent the server from going down, we have blocked the access to the login page. If you have not installed the plugins below to change the login page, you will not be able to login to your WordPress Dashboard.

To gain access, you will need to open a ticket and provide your IP address (available at www.whatismyip.com) for us to manually unblock you. Subsequently, you will then be able to login and we strongly advise that you install the plugins above to prevent a similar occurrence.

With this announcement, as we have done previously, we therefore reserve the rights to suspend any accounts that has been compromised to prevent the server from becoming unstable or inaccessible. We are forced to do this to protect the rest of the accounts (which have installed and taken preventive steps) from being affected as well.

For customers that uses their credit cards to purchase domain names during the workshops, you need to manually cancel your hosting subscription or you will be automatically charged for the hosting after the free hosting.

The system has been set to suspend your account 20 days after the due payment date and to terminate 30 days after the due payment date for overdue on payment for PayPal payment method. For credit card payment method, you need to cancel immediately from your Client Area.

Please take note that all contents will be permanently removed after termination.

For immediate termination / cancellation of Reseller Hosting Account, please login to your Client Area at:

After you logged in please proceed to Services > My Services > View Details > Management Actions > Request Cancellation

Briefly describe the reason for cancellation, select the type of cancellation required (immediate or end of billing period) and click on the Request Cancellation button.

As regards to your domain name, it will automatically expires if not renewed manually if you have disabled the auto renew feature in Domains > My Domains > Auto Renew of your Client Area.

If you do not wish to renew your domain when it expires, please disable auto renew by following the steps below:

1. Log into the Client Area at https://www.asiainternethosting.com/clients/clientarea.php
2. Go to the Domains > My Domains. Click on the tool icon on the right of your domain
3. In the right sidebar, click on Auto Renew. Click DISABLE AUTO RENEW.
4. The Auto Renewal Status will indicate DISABLED.
5. Repeat steps 2 and 4 for all your domains you do not wish to renew.
